“Fix Society” was released July 10, 2016 after the shooting in Dallas on July 7, 2016, that killed 5 officers, and it was the first time a robot was used to kill a suspect. The shootings followed almost a month later after the Orlando shooting at a gay nightclub on June 12, 2016, which killed 49 people.

The song was dedicated to those who had lost their lives in the shootings.
