XVI Religion About

XVI Religion (previously 16 Barre) is an underground rap group from Rovigo and the Polesine area formed by rappers John Princekin and Benni and by DJ and producer Jack Burton; the group has also often collaborated with DJs / producers DJ Bicchio, DJ Nero and Manto.

The group boasts collaborations with various names known to underground fans, including the Italian DSA Commando, Nitro, Mezzosangue, Musteeno and Ago, as well as with the American Slaine, member of the La Coka Nostra collective.

Their lyrics feature various references to religions, mysticism, Satanism, the occult and the world of conspiracy theories and the New World Order. The sounds of the group are underground and faithful to the classic bap boom, even if there was no shortage of experiments with electronic backing tracks, as in the album "Li I saw again" released together with Watch the Dog in 2009.
