In 2003 Curumin started his solo career with the release of his first album entitled Achados e Perdidos. In the 12 tracks of this disc, Curumin presents his musical influences, making clear references to American Soul and Funk, Samba and Samba-Funk of the 70s and Hip-Hop.
In 2008, he released the CD JapanPopShow simultaneously in Brazil, the USA and Japan. The album was named after an auditorium program that aired on TV in the 1980s. With dancing rhythms, he establishes his inimitable Samba style Soul, with hints of Afro Beat, Dub and Funk.
In recent years Curumin participated in several music festivals in Brazil and in the world, always accompanied by drummer Marcelo Effori and bassist Lucas Martins. Brazilian festivals such as Planeta Terra (SP), SWU (SP), Humaitá Pra Peixe (RJ), Eletronika (BH) and international such as Summerstage (USA), Montreal Jazz Festival (CA), Tropicália Festival (England), Chicago World Music Festival (USA), Heineken Transatlantic Festival (USA), among others.
At the moment, Curumin is preparing for the launch of a new work. With innovation and boldness, the mixture of rhythms reflects the true Brazilian culture and infects the public wherever it goes.
