RKM & Ken-Y About
José Nieves (R.K.M) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y) were born and raised in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, and met while in high school. Inspired by the Reggaeton explosion in the 90s, they formed a duo and began performing live at parties and events.
Some time later, they collaborated with Nicky Jam on the songs “Past” and “Me I'm Dying”, which later became hits in Latin America.
After signing with Pina Records, they released their album “Masterpiece”, which was certified platinum. Their next album, “The Royalty / La Realeza,” was released in 2008, and earned them a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Urban Album. Their last studio album, “Forever,” was released in 2011. After that, the duo disbanded and the two began solo careers.
Some of his most famous songs are "Down", "Me Matas", "Un Sueño" and "When You Fall in Love". They have also collaborated with many artists such as Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, José Feliciano, Pitbull, Héctor “El Father”, Ivy Queen, Chino y Nacho, Plan B, Tony Dize and Zion & Lennox.
