Will Roush About

Will Roush is an American hip-hop recording artist who is best known for his musical projects working with CFO$ of WWE music group, and most infamously known for his NHL interview at a Rangers game. Roush became infamous for his sports interview where he attended an NHL game by paying $4,500 cash to secure a seat alongside basketball player Mason Plumlee:

My man, I paid forty-five hundred dollars. […] I gotta see the rangers win. I could have burned all that money on water, I don’t really drink alcohol […] Four-thousand five-hundred only, Benjamin Franklin is killing the game.

Later in a behind the scenes interview for the “4500” music video shoot, Roush revealed he originally had no intentions to do the interview, however, h agreed to it as he was told it would only be broadcasted on Canadian television, presuming no one was going to see it. Roush would make a music video with his friend, Mason Plumlee, who attended the game with him, for the song “4500” with the intro of the song being a sample of the interview from the very same broadcast that gave him notability.

In February, 2017, Roush’s original rap song “Watch This” was noticed by WWE back in 2016 and served as the theme song for the Fastlane event. In 2016, Roush collaborated with CFO$ in working on two custom themes for wrestling sports personality, Tino Sabbatelli, and the hit wrestling show, Monday Night Raw. In 2018, Roush had his second song “M.O.M.” used by WWE for the Elimination Chamber event..
