Lil Tecca About

Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe (b. August 26, 2002), better known by his stage name, Lil Tecca, is a rapper and producer coming out of Queens, New York.

Tecca started rapping at age 9 because of his friends; his first song was a diss track towards his friends, which he would later take down as years went by. He would initially gain a fanbase in Toronto, Canada, leading many to mistake him for being from there, despite him coming from Queens.

He first started to gain mainstream attention with his songs “Molly Girl” and “Did It Again,” but his career would skyrocket with the release of “Ransom.” This was largely due to a Cole Bennett-directed music video, which helped the song achieve a peak at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

On August 30, 2019, Lil Tecca released his debut album, We Love You Tecca.
